I believe once we find a way to capitalize on Web 2.0 (social media, social networks and social commerce) will we see those bugs disappear and even better companies arise.

The main question is: How do we turn free Web 2.0 revenue streams? The answer isn't in the medium between the customers, the consumer and merchant, but in the relationship between the two.

Ravit Lichtenberg

Michael- great point about the relationship between three of the ecosystem elements. Definitely a key. I my mind, the system is going to see a major change in which power will be returned to the hands of the user/buyer/consumer and sellers will bid over how much they'll pay--not the other way around. But the challenge is making the web meaningful, aggregating the massive information out there into intelligible buckets, helping people find relevant information etc. VRM and VODO are also doing some interesting things. Lots of startups are in that space...a fascinating time to be here.
